Preview:Divas Champion Alicia Fox vs. Eve

Divas Champion Alicia Fox has been determined to hold onto the attention of the WWE Universe as well as her title, even if it means faking injuries to “outfox” her opponents in the process. But it remains to be seen if the cunning Diva’s acting chops will be of any use at Money in the Bank, when she defends the Divas title against Eve.

These two contentious Divas have collided several times in the past, but it was Eve’s Divas Championship rematch on the July 5 edition of Raw that raised the temperature of this already heated rivalry. Using a feigned ankle injury to prey on Eve’s sympathies, Alicia was able to steal a victory from the Jiu-Jitsu expert. This didn’t sit well with Eve, and it certainly didn’t sit well with the anonymous Raw General Manager. Via e-mail to Michael Cole, the GM decreed that due to Alicia’s despicable act of deception, she would defend her title against Eve yet again at Money in the Bank.

Can Alicia – who won the title at Fatal 4-Way – steal yet another victory at Money in the Bank? Or can the WWE Universe “bank” on a second Divas Championship reign for the sexy, smart and powerful Eve? Find out this Sunday, only on pay-per-view.

Eve def. Divas Champion Maryse
It was like a scene out of the film Mean Girls. After all the abuse and put-downs suffered at the hands of Divas Champion Maryse, Eve finally got her chance to shut the mouth of her conceited Canadian rival in a title match. Summoning her natural athletic ability, Eve overcame the underhanded tactics and trash-talking to net the butterfly title and become the new Divas Champion.

Eve won Red Carpet “Dress to Impress” Battle Royal; Eve vs. Maryse for Divas Title next week
The sexy, smart and powerful women of WWE really are multi-talented. Not only do they know how to fill out an evening gown, they’re not too shabby at wrestling in them either. A “Dress to Impress” Battle Royal pitted Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, Gail Kim, Rosa Mendes, Jillian, Katie Lea, The Bella Twins and Eve against one other with the winner earning a Divas Championship Match next week. When the sequins finally settled, it was the gorgeous Eve who emerged victorious and will face Maryse next week for the title.

Eve, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim def. Divas Champion Maryse, Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Layla, Alicia Fox & Vickie Guerrero
Pigs flew last night at WrestleMania – quite literally. You see, Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero secured a win for her squad when she landed a “Hog Splash” atop Kelly Kelly in a 10-Diva Tag Team Match. In the Raw rematch, however, Guerrero – alongside Diva’s Champion Maryse, Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Layla & Alicia Fox – was unable to save her team’s bacon. When Eve – teaming with Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim – entered the ring against Maryse, the beauty appeared unrelenting against the conceited Canadian and forcefully pinned her in short order.

PHOENIX — Whoever coined the term “when pigs fly” never saw Vickie Guerrero in action.

In the closing moments of the 10-Divas Tag Team Match at WrestleMania, the Official SmackDown Consultant slowly scaled the ropes and then launched herself onto a prone Kelly Kelly, crushing the blonde beauty and picking up the win for her team on The Grandest Stage of Them All. (PHOTOS)

It was an unexpected end to the wild battle pitting Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Eve, Gail Kim & Beth Phoenix against Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Divas Champion Maryse, Layla, Alicia Fox & Vickie. After a fracas that saw nearly every Diva in the match nail their trademark maneuvers, it came down to The Glamazon and Guerrero. But a sneak attack by the Women’s Champion put Phoenix out of the bout, allowing Vickie to do the unthinkable. With a helping hand from her team, Guerrero scaled the ropes and performed a “hog splash” onto Kelly Kelly that nearly shook the University of Phoenix Stadium.

While Kelly will still be feeling the effects of Vickie’s considerable impact tomorrow, it is Beth Phoenix who most wanted to get her hands on the shrill SmackDown Consultant. After being pinned by Vickie on Friday, The Glamazon would like nothing more than to shut her big mouth.

Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Divas Champion Maryse, Vickie Guerrero, Layla and Alicia Fox def. Beth Phoenix
SmackDown Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero used her authority to turn her match with The Glamazon into a five-on-one Handicap Match. Although The Fabulous Firebird held her own against incredible odds, Michelle eventually blasted her with a hard kick to the face, allowing Guerrero to tag in for the pin.

But when Guerrero climbed the ropes to attempt a post-– match frog splash, Mickie James – returning from injury – Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim and Eve all stormed to the ring. The arriving Divas cleaned house until only Beth and Vickie were left. As Vickie tried to escape, The Glamazon pulled off her pants, sending the humiliated former SmackDown General Manager running for cover.

Divas Champion Maryse, Women’s Champion Michelle McCool & Layla def. Eve, Gail Kim & Beth Phoenix
When Women’s Champion Michelle McCool and her cohort Layla darted into the ring last week to assist Diva’s Champion Maryse, the targets of their ire paid a heavy price. This week, McCool, Layla and Maryse made their allegiance official and extracted yet another toll, this time from Gail Kim and her partners Eve & Beth Phoenix. After McCool scored the win, she and her brazen teammates celebrated alongside SmackDown Consultant Vicki Guerrero.

Divas Champion Maryse def. Kelly Kelly
Perhaps Maryse’s frustration with losing two weeks in a row is beginning to take a toll. Why else would the Divas Champion continue to attack Kelly Kelly even after handily defeating her?

After the conceited Canadian secured the win in a singles match, she set up Kelly Kelly for more punishment, but Eve and Gail Kim bolted in for the save. Just when it appeared Maryse would receive her comeuppance from the three, SmackDown’s Women’s Champion Michelle McCool and Layla shot in to protect her. As Maryse, Michelle and Layla snaked away, Vickie Guerrero emerged to greet them, leaving many in the WWE Universe pondering the strange alliance.

Dude, it was like something from a dream. After indulging in Hornswoggle’s “unique” cereal, special guest hosts Cheech & Chong decided it would be far out to have a Diva Pajama Pillow Fight Match featuring Divas Champion Maryse, Eve, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Jillian and Alicia Fox. Man, were they right.

With the comedic duo watching from the announcer’s table, Eve demonstrated her pillow prowess and emerged victorious after all the feathers flew. Even Hornswoggle popped up to rain his “unique” cereal down on the special guest hosts. Trippy, man, trippy.

Jewel & Ty Murray host Diva Bull Riding Competition;
Just when the Divas were beginning to master the mechanical bull guest hosts Jewel and Ty Murray brought to Raw, Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz decided to drop onto the scene like a couple of cow patties. The duo mocked the sport and heckled the bull.
